Duas dos Arcos / Two from Arcos

After my passagem by Ponte de Lima, I headed to Arcos de Valdevez; I could tell a lot about this town I appreciate so much, if most of the times I pass here were not without stopping, on my way to some of the many extraordinary places of its extensive municipality, for me the most verdant in Portugal. We'll talk about those some other day...
I stayed around the town this time, attracted by this corner so many times seen from the road. The dam, the houses and the prominent figure of the São Paio church formed the perfect composition for a sketch, which I did pleasantly. The riverside area of Arcos is one of the most bucolic I know, and I know very little, something that ensures me the happiness of future and fruitful explorations.

Still had time for one more sketch, and entered town in search of an interesting subject. I didn't need to walk so much, as I immediately found one. Others more attractive or monumental would be found as far as I continued, but liked this one's composition and there I lazily stayed. It was lunch time and quietness prevailed; Few people passed and the silence was cut only by the cutlery clash in some dining room. I heard a woman with a chef's cap knocking at someone's door to ask if they could sell her some meat for rojões... Probably demand exceeded supply in some restaurant where, judging by this errand, someone is doing its job masterfully.
