Numa zona que tem sofrido grandes transformações, há um pequeno edifício que mantém a ligação ao tempo em que o Monte D'Arcos era apenas o quase-arrabalde onde se situava – e ainda situa – o cemitério da cidade.
Pequeno edifício sim, mas somente em tamanho, pois foi grande a sua fama: Ali se serviu, entre 1930 e 2008, o celebrado “Bacalhau à Narcisa”, havendo quem viesse de longe para o provar, fazendo deste um dos mais emblemáticos restaurantes de Braga. À excelência do manjar, em seu tempo confirmada por este vosso riscador de cadernos, acrescentava-se o pitoresco das instalações, praticamente inalteradas desde a abertura, e que neste dia uma porta entreaberta deixava adivinhar que mais ou menos assim permanecerão...
In an area that has been hugely transformed, a small building makes the connection with the days when Monde D'Arcos was just the almost-outskirt where the city cemetery was – and still is – located. 
Small building yes, but in size only, as its fame was once great: It was the place where, between 1930 and 2008, the famous “Bacalhau à Narcisa” (Narcisa codfish) was served, some people travelling from far distances to taste it, making this one of Braga's most iconic restaurants. The excellence of the meal, confirmed then by this sketcher of yours, was added by the picturesque ot the place itself, practically unchanged since the opening days, and apparently remaining so, as could be guessed on this day through a door left ajar...
